Last Chances for Shansi Application Advising

As Shansi’s January 9th application deadline approaches, Senior Director Ted Samuel and Development Associate Sydney Garvis ‘18 are offering advising sessions to help applicants with essay drafts and questions about sites.

To chat with Ted, reach out via email (tsamuel@oberlin.edu) to set up an advising time. Ted is available to meet with applicants via Zoom from now until Thursday, December 22, and then again on December 27, 28, and 29.

To chat with Sydney, reach out via email (sgarvis@oberlin.edu) or find a time on her Google Appt Cal here. Sydney is available from now until Wednesday, December 21, and then not until January 3.

Note: We will accept first drafts of essays until Thursday, December 22. If you’ve already sent in a draft, we’ll be able to give you feedback up until Thursday, December 29. From January 3 to 9, Ted and Sydney will still meet with applicants to answer questions, but will not give feedback on essay drafts because of the proximity to the January 9 deadline.
