Oberlin Shansi Resumes Visiting Scholars Program

Oberlin Shansi is excited to announce the resumption of the Visiting Scholars program. The Visiting Scholars program gives faculty and staff from Shansi’s partner institutions a chance to live and study at Oberlin College. Visiting Scholars stay for up to one semester to take classes or conduct research in collaboration with Oberlin College faculty. Scholars also join campus clubs and music ensembles and explore the surrounding Northeast Ohio area.

We are excited to resume this invaluable opportunity for intercultural exchange, which has been around since 1927.

Applications for staff and faculty from Lady Doak College, Syiah Kuala University, and Universitas Gadjah Mada are open now. Please visit the Visiting Scholars page on our website for more information and a link to the online application. The deadline for this application is Monday, March 13, 2023 for the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.
