Congratulations to 2023 In-Asia Grantee Rohil Navani

This summer, Oberlin College second-year Rohil Navani will work on research in the sustainability of sovereign debt, or how developing countries manage their sovereign debt with Verité Research in Sri Lanka. Verité Research is a think tank that researches the sovereign debt crisis in Sri Lanka, among other economic and development areas in the region. While interning at Verité for two months, Rohil will shadow economists and other experts, and assist them on projects directly related to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka.

Rohil Navani (he/him) is an Oberlin College second-year double-majoring in economics and politics. Rohil hails from New Jersey and has undertaken independent research about sovereign debt in Asia under the mentorship of Oberlin economics professors. We are excited for Rohil to be our first In-Asia grantee since 2019! More information on the $1500 In-Asia Grant can be found here.

Navani will head to Sri Lanka this summer 2023 for an internship with Verité Research.
