
Introducing the 2020 Shansi Fellow to India!
This year, Shansi will commence our new partnership with The Keystone Foundation, an eco-development organization based near the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in South India. Our inaugural Fellow is Madeleine Gefke, class of 2020.

Five Oberlin seniors and two recent alumni have been selected as new Shansi Fellows for 2020. These talented, adventurous, and engaged Obies will work with Shansi’s partner NGOs and universities in China, India, Indonesia, and Japan.

This week, we are celebrating our Visiting Scholars Program, which allows staff and faculty from our partner institutions in Asia to come to Oberlin to conduct research, observe undergraduate teaching, attend academic conferences, and build professional networks.

Dalila hails from Banda Aceh, Indonesia, where she teaches software engineering and computer science at Syiah Kuala University.
