Announcing Shansi's Newest Fellowship to India

Oberlin Shansi is excited to announce its newest Fellowship to The Keystone Foundation in India. This Fellowship provides an opportunity for a graduating senior or recent alum to work with a dynamic nongovernmental organization (NGO) dedicated to environmental conservation and the advancement of indigenous Adivasi communities living in the Nilgiri Biosphere in Tamil Nadu. Shansi Fellows will have the opportunity to gain valuable, first-hand professional experience in one or more of the following fields:

  • Grassroots Development

  • Environmental Conservation and Education

  • Public Health

  • Arts and Language Preservation

  • Marketing for socially conscious, fair-trade goods

  • Documentary Film, Podcast, and Storytelling

Interested students and recent alumni are encouraged to speak with Shansi staff about the opportunity or to attend our launch event on Wednesday, September 25 at 12:15pm in Wilder 101.
