Indonesia Winter Term Trip Presentation

On Tuesday, April 3, The Luce Initiative on Asian Studies and the Environment will host an interesting presentation by the students and faculty participants in a Winter Term trip to Indonesia this past January. Four faculty and eight students visited Banda Aceh and Yogyakarta to explore "Cultural Response to Natural Disasters: Banda Aceh Tsunami & Merapi Eruptions in Indonesia." They worked closely with Shansi's partner universities in both places.

The talk will take place TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 3rd, at 12:20pm in Severance 108. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

The Winter Term was sponsored by Geology, East Asian Studies, Environmental Studies, and the LIASE Luce Initiative on Asian Studies and the Environment.
