Green Legacy Hiroshima “Spring Thaw”: A-Bomb Survivor Tree Visit

LIASE, the EAS department, the Biology Department, and Shansi co-sponsored this event to see a new promotional video from Green Legacy Hiroshima—created by Hiroshima Fellow, Annelise Giseburt ’16—and review the progress of the ginkgo seedlings in the Science Center. Biology Professor Mary Garvin gave an update of how the gingko and wisteria plants are faring since they have been moved outside, and discussed the future challenge of finding a suitable final location to plant them.
