2022 Shansi Prize

Oberlin Shansi is accepting submissions for the 2022 Shansi Prize. The nomination form (for faculty) and the application form (for students) are available at https://www.shansi.org/shansi-prize. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

The Shansi Prize is designed to reward graduating seniors for meritorious student scholarship on topics relating to Asia or Asian Diasporas. To have a project entered for consideration it must be nominated by a member of the Oberlin College faculty or staff. The project can take the form of written work, class project, research project, music composition or performance, and students from all disciplines are eligible for this award.

The Shansi Prize is awarded annually, coinciding with the end of the academic year. We encourage faculty and staff to nominate students whose work they believe demonstrates an exceptional understanding of an aspect of Asia, and is based on the values of mutual understanding, respect, and learning. The nomination form (for faculty) and the application form (for students) are available at https://www.shansi.org/shansi-prize.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.
