Phoebe von Conta

Phoebe von Conta recently returned from her Shansi fellowship at Lady Doak College, Madurai, India. In Madurai, she worked at the International Studies Centre connecting with students by facilitating professional development workshops, language programming, and community building events. She was a frequent visitor at neighboring American College, where she spent much of her time at the Study Centre for Indian Literature in Translation (SCILET). She is excited to join the Shansi team.

As the Grants and Fellowships Coordinator for Oberlin Shansi, Phoebe oversees much of the grant and fellowship recruitment and application process, supports Shansi development initiatives, and manages official communications.
