Mid-Autumn Festival

On Friday night September 23, East Asian Studies celebrated Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, one of the important festivals celebrated across China in Asia House. The Chinese language faculty encouraged their students to sing traditional songs while the appreciative audience enjoyed mooncakes, a round pastry filled with dense sweet filling that symbolizes the autumn moon during harvest time.
