Moving the Movement! MAASC March 2014

March 14, 2014

The MRC‘s webpage states that this year’s MAASC will “will gather movers of multiple generations and disciplines to bring these critical conversations to the unique experiences of Asian Americans. They come from a number of ethnic communities within the Asian American diaspora including Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Thai, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities with grassroots activism, community advocacy, political organizing, academia and research, visual and performing arts, social media, library science, and law as areas of focus.”

The theme this year is “Moving the Movement: Asian American Radicalism Reimagined.” Thoughtful guest bios, logistics, schedule, the MAASC 2014 Mission Statement, and history of the conference can all be found on the Multicultural Resource Center webpage.
