Brendan Nuse ’17 graduated in May 2017 with a double major in Environmental Studies and East Asian Studies. Brendan studied abroad for a semester in Kunming, China, and is currently researching changes in arguments for vegetarianism throughout history in China for his honors thesis. He has a strong interest in teaching, and has worked at Oberlin as a tutor and teaching assistant for classes in the Environmental Studies department. He has tutored with America Reads and America Counts, taught swimming lessons, been a substitute teacher, and last summer worked as a Residential Educator at the Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy.
